Located east of the Intracoastal Waterway between Commercial Boulevard and Sunrise Boulevard this neighborhood is between NE 42nd Ct in the North, North Ocean Boulevard in the East, NE 36th St in the South, and the Intracoastal Waterway in the West.
Bermuda Riviera is a small Fort Lauderdale neighborhood that has a lot to offer. It is one of the few neighborhoods that have waterfront canals on the beach side (east) of the Intracoastal. Most of the homes are on deepwater lots with no fixed bridges, however there are some dry lots mixed in. For many this is the ideal situation with deepwater access and being right next to the beach. For others the proximity of the beach is not as important and they look here just as much as they do in surrounding neighborhoods east and west of the Intracoastal, with a goal of getting the best house for their money.
Bermuda Riviera has traditionally offered some of the more affordable deepwater with no fixed bridges prices in all of Fort Lauderdale. Standard lot sizes are 80 feet wide by 100 feet deep, with a many of the homes offering oversized lots. The homes also range in size from 3/2’s with 2,000 – 3,000 sqft, all the way to large 2 story homes with 5,000 sqft and more. This location is about the same distance from both Port Everglades Inlet in the South and Hillsboro Inlet in the North, with most boaters heading south to get out to the ocean.
Both locals and second homeowners alike love this neighborhood because of its comparative affordability, and its northeast location with proximity to the beach, private schools, restaurants, and everyday shopping.
